In the heart of Lanzhou, nestled along the banks of the Yellow River, there lies a tradition steeped in both history and flavor. The year 1915 marked the beginning of a culinary journey for a small noodle shop known simply as 1915 Halal Lanzhou Beef Noodle. Founded by Master Ma Bao Zi, a skilled artisan from a long line of noodle makers, the restaurant was born from a passion for authentic Lanzhou beef noodles prepared according to Halal principles.

 

Lanzhou, a city celebrated for its vibrant mix of cultures, particularly the Hui Muslim community, inspired Master Liang to blend traditional Chinese noodle making techniques with Halal culinary practices. His vision was clear: to create a noodle experience that wasn’t just a meal but a celebration of cultural harmony and culinary excellence.
